Augumented Kinect Game

Spidaug is an interactive projection game. Spiders will crawl onto the table, which the player can eather swipe away or destroy by stomping on the table. The player gets points for each kill, but has to make sure the table doesn't get overrun by spiders. To realise the concept Kinect was used to track the players motions. A beamer next to the Kinect projected on to table. Both are connected to a Unity program, in which the game came together. The 3D model of spider I based on origami research and photographs. I started from the essentials of a spider and added on to that base to make is as realistic as possible in 3DS MAX.
